Introducing Ranchos Del Rio, Rio Rico’s Newest Village
December 27, 2005
The Villages of Rio Rico introduces Ranchos del Rio, a limited selection of 4-acre and larger equestrian estates in Rio Rico.
Ranchos del Rio is a limited collection of 4-acre and larger equestrian properties situated in a lush mesquite bosque near the lush Santa Cruz River Valley. This well-planned community is situated within thousands of acres of open space, with gorgeous mountain vistas, mesquite bosques, cottonwood groves, and sandy washes for you and your riding. Miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding, including the De Anza National Historic Trail, an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr. championship golf course, and fitness center are all within minutes of the community.
Guy Tobin, President of Rio Rico Properties, says, “Now couldn’t be a better time to buy a new 4-acre equestrian home in Rio Rico. With so many communities being developed south of Tucson, the population is rapidly expanding this way. Rio Rico maintains the rich traditions of yesterday with an unspoiled rural residential ambience.”
Currently, these custom homes and estate acreage are being offered within Ranchos del Rio with customizable floor plans and numerous designer options available.
Ranchos del Rio is just the latest in a series of successful Villages projects. Bella Vista North, surrounding the prestigious Esplendor Resort, offers three new styles of homes to complement the traditional ambiance of Bella Vista: The Old Pueblo, a contemporary new feel in Southwestern design; The Santa Barbara, in the classic style of Bella Vista; and The Estates at Bella Vista, custom homes situated on larger estate-size lots. The first two phases of Bella Vista sold out quickly, and requests for this popular neighborhood have continued.
Casitas de Anza is a limited selection of 11 three-bedroom luxury homes with five floor plans from 1,348 to 1,878 square feet, conveniently located off Avenida Coatimundi.
Once part of a vast land grant from the King of Spain, Rio Rico maintains the unique balance of new homes planned around thousands of acres of open space, a new State Park and the Anza National Historic Trail, a luxurious Three-Diamond resort, and the par-72 Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf course, which is consistently rated among the best in the state. Rio Rico’s major attraction is a resort lifestyle, affordable housing, and its proximity to both Tucson and the Mexican border.
A subsidiary of Avatar Properties, Inc. of Florida, Rio Rico Properties is the residential, commercial and industrial developer of the 35,000 acre community. Rio Rico Properties has enjoyed 10 years of helping to develop and build the town of Rio Rico, whose population recently topped 17,000, with a lasting commitment to preserving the culture and natural beauty of the area.
