Poinciana’s Cypress Courtyard adds two restaurantsPOINCIANA, FL---Venezuelan and Puerto Rican restaurants and a home furnishings store are among eight new tenants at the Cypress Courtyard, a $15 million shopping center fronting Cypress Parkway in Poinciana Towne Center.
Q’Kenan Venezuelan Restaurant and Martell Puerto Rican Restaurant join six other eateries in the nine building, 100,149 sq. ft. shopping center being developed on a 16-acre site by Gadinsky Real Estate, LLC of Miami Beach in joint venture with Echion USA Inc. of Sunrise, Florida. The roster of restaurants also includes Pollo Tropical, Panda Express, N.Y.P.D. Pizza, The Taco Maker, a delicatessen and Starbucks.
Other new tenants to Cypress Courtyard include Norena Home Furnishings, Mail Post, Ogando Coin Laundry, Ogando Dry Cleaner, a doctor’s office, and dental offices.
The tenant list also includes Mattress One, Colortyme, Avon, Nail Salon, Dollar Tree, Hibbett Sports, CATO Women’s Fashions, Sherwin Williams Paints, Payless ShoeSource, Amscot Financial Services, Sally Beauty, and GameStop.
Most of the 28,800 sq. ft. of space in two office condo buildings has been sold to local businesses with just a few in-line storefronts available as well as a free-standing bank site and a free-standing retail/fast food site with drive-thru.
Cypress Courtyard adds to the nearly 80 businesses and restaurants that operate in Poinciana Towne Center, the retail hub and social center of Poinciana which is being developed by Avatar Properties Inc., also the primary home builder in the 47,000-acre master planned community that straddles Osceola and Polk counties.
A Wal-Mart SuperCenter, a Winn-Dixie Marketplace, and the Promenade Shopping Center anchored by a Publix Supermarket are major tenants in Poinciana Towne Center which also includes a library, family medical center and post office.
