Realtor event generates good will and 13 sales at Avatar’s BellalagoSM
April 29, 2007
Avatar Properties Inc. knows the importance of giving local Realtors and residential real estate brokers periodic opportunities to experience the lifestyle and ambiance of the communities it is developing throughout Central Florida.
Case in point: BellalagoSM, Avatar’s gated community with over one mile of shoreline on Lake Tohopekaliga (Toho) where the builder-developer recently staged its Caribbean-themed “Breeze into Bellalago” promotion for more than 100 local Realtors, many from the Osceola County Association of Realtors (OSCAR).
Realtors not only participated in the festive lakeside event at Bellalago’sTM Sunset Terrace Grille, but enjoyed good food, music and walked away with gift cards from local retail stores and restaurants.
“It was a win-win situation for everyone,” said Michael Manning, Avatar’s director of sales for BellalagoSM where Realtors and brokers attending the promotion generated the sale of 13 inventory homes in just 21 days following the event.
“We recognize the important and vital role area Realtors and residential real estate brokers have played in our sales success at BellalagoSM and the Isles of BellalagoSM,” said Manning, noting participating broker sales have accounted for nearly 67 percent of the 1,079 sales in the two communities.
“By regularly inviting them here for special events and housing tours they become extremely familiar with the community, its lifestyle and its homes, and that enables them to serve as a vital extension of our on-site sales staff,” Manning said.
BellalagoSM and the Isles of BellalagoSMcurrently offer inventory homes at base prices from the $270s to the mid-$500s.
BellalagoSM also features a multi-million-dollar amenity complex alongside Lake Toho that includes an elaborate welcome center, state-of-the-art fitness center, and an aquatic complex with free-form pool and water slide, junior Olympic pool, spa, wading pool, and children’s water park.
Other amenities in the 1,339-acre community include tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, 320 acres of inland lakes and waterways, a boat ramp and lift at Lake Toho, a 1,300-foot-long boardwalk and gazebo on Lake Toho, 400 acres of conservation areas and wooded nature preserves, neighborhood parks, and a labyrinth of walking and biking trails throughout the community.
BellalagoSM also is home to BellalagoSM Academy, a unique K-8 charter school, and by the summer of 2008 is expected to celebrate the opening of the $20 million Village Shops at Bellalago
The Isles of BellalagoSM, a gated community located directly across Pleasant Hill Road from BellalagoSM, features four neighborhoods of single-family homes which are each accessed by a bridge spanning water to give the illusion of driving onto an island. An amenity complex is scheduled to open in May.
