Solivita® makes list of America’s best places to retire… again

POINCIANA, FL---For the fourth consecutive time, Where to Retire magazine has named Solivita® one of America’s 100 Best Master-Planned Communities for active adults.The editorial staff of the Houston, Texas-based publication evaluated several hundred communities in 29 states over a nine-month period before selecting its biennial honor roll of retirement communities that will appear in the July/August 2009 issue of the magazine.

A development of Avatar® Properties Inc., Solivita® is Avatar’s® crown jewel in the 47,000-acre Poinciana planned unit development (P.U.D.) and winner of Builder magazine’s 2002 Grand Award as America’s Best Active-Adult Community. Solivita® also made Where to Retire’s prestigious biennial honor roll in 2003, 2005 and 2007, while Avatar’s® Villages of Rio Rico in Rio Rico Arizona made the magazine’s list for the third time.
