TerraLargo gears up for summer opening

There is no need to travel to Italy to bask in warm sun among rolling hills and Tuscan architecture ... this haven can be found at Avatar Properties Inc.’s TerraLargo in historic Lakeland. More importantly, the opportunity to own a new home in this 640-acre, 618-home community is approaching.
TerraLargo is set to open this summer, and in anticipation of the unveiling, Avatar has released its Tuscan-inspired residential design collections, and is putting the finishing touches on its model-home center.
The Castello and Palazzo collections – with homes expected to be priced from the mid-$200s including homesite – comprise10 floor plans with 1,462 to 3,162 square feet of living space.
The collections offer one- and two-story designs with three or four bedrooms. These homes also will include standard features such as brick paver driveways and entryways, covered lanais, arch accents, barrel-tile roofs, stone exteriors and two- or three-car garages.
The Castello Collection offers five floor plans – with two or 2.5 baths – some of which include optional features such as a den and enlarged master bedroom. Its two-story design boasts an optional second-floor loft or media room.
Meanwhile, the Palazzo Collection’s five floor plans include two, 2.5 or three baths, as well as 9-foot-high-flat ceilings. Most of these designs also boast a den.
More information about these floor plans will be available at TerraLargo’s model-home center, which comprises three model homes – the 1,625-square-foot Campania, 2,033-square-foot Milano, and 3,162-square-foot Toscana. Expected to be complete for the community’s opening, the models showcase standard features found in the residential designs.
The Campania has three bedrooms and two baths, as well as a 14-by-18-foot greatroom and two-car garage. Its 12-by-14-foot master suite boasts a master bath with twin vanities, a walk-in closet, garden tub and separate shower.
Next, the three-bedroom, two-bath Milano – also with a two-car garage – includes a 15-by-19-foot living room, an 11-by-20-foot dining room that is open to an island kitchen, and a 17-by-19-foot master suite with lanai access.
The two-story Toscana boasts four bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a three-car garage. The home also has a guest suite with walk-in closet, a 17-by-25-foot living room, a 16-foot-square family room, and a loft. Its first-floor master suite features lanai access, his-and-her walk-in closets and a master bath with twin vanities. Moreover, there is an optional second-floor bonus room.
