Avatar designs, builds and markets single-family and multi-family homes for primary, active adult and second home buyers. Residents of our communities enjoy lifestyle amenities such as golf courses, country clubs, restaurants, tennis and/or recreational facilities.
Avatar collects Personal Information for valid business purposes to assist our customers with their purchases and to help in developing communities in such a way as to provide the lifestyles and services our customers are seeking.
Avatar collects Personal Information about you for many reasons and at different times. Avatar collects this Personal Information so it can provide you with the community services you want, make it possible for you to build, buy and obtain your dream home, help you become a member of various clubs, and help you settle into and enjoy your new residence and your community. Avatar also collects Personal Information for market research and product development so it can understand your lifestyle community desires and desired services.
Personal Information Avatar collects comes to Avatar in the following different ways:
- Personal Information you provide to Avatar on registration cards and in your inquiries when you visit our sales centers;
- Personal Information you provide to Avatar on correspondence and in your correspondence;
- Personal Information you provide manually and that computer servers collect, when you visit our websites;
- Personal Information possibly collected during the business relationship with you, as you purchase and finance your home;
- Personal Information that is publicly available, such as deeds, mortgages or other recorded instruments of public record.
Avatar may confirm Personal Information you provide Avatar on applications and forms, or as a resident of one of Avatar's communities, with third parties, such as your bank, employer, mortgage company or landlord, utility providers, government entities, credit agencies, and other businesses where you have an account, credit card or do business.
If you visit the Site, Avatar's computer servers automatically log your IP address, the pages you click on and how long you spend there, and the web page you came from and go to next; Avatar also saves the data you type in if you want to receive brochures or applications. If Avatar acts as your real estate broker, Avatar will gather Personal Information about you, your house, or the type of residence you're looking for. If you need title insurance, Personal Information is collected relating to insuring title. If you send a letter, email or fax to us, Avatar will save that Personal Information in its files, so as to respond to your question or comment.
